A new ice cream shop has opened in Solms Landing.

Jeremiah's Italian Ice opened on Oct. 6 at 2292 Sophie Lane, Ste. 101, New Braunfels. The franchise is locally owned and operated by husband and wife duo Trishna Patel and Nihal Pantangi.
Patel said they took photos around the city of things that were meaningful to them to help create a New Braunfels-inspired mural in the shop. The mural has illustrations of the Comal River, the Comal County Courthouse and Gruene Hall.
The mural also displays bald eagles, which Patel and Pantangi frequently see near their home. The bald eagles are carrying German sausages—an ode to New Braunfels' German heritage. The mural also shows two swans that represent Patel and Pantangi.
What they offer
The shop offers various flavors of soft serve ice cream and Italian ice. Jeremiah's Italian Ice also sells Jelati Cakes, which are cakes made from Italian ice and soft serve ice cream.
