New Braunfels’ local coffee truck Otomi Authentic Mexican Coffee has closed for the foreseeable future, according to an April 1 Facebook post.

Owner Angela Paloma Mendez said she is stepping aside from the business to be closer to her three kids.
Mendez said the business was taking a lot of time away from her children, whom she solely supports.
“As much as I love what I do, what’s more important to me is my family,” Mendez said.
What’s next
As of now, Mendez does not have a reopening date; however, she does have plans to sell coffee bags, and provide event catering and coffee delivery at a later date.
