Chicken Salad Chick opening soon at Gruene Heights Village in New Braunfels

Chicken Salad Chick, a fast-casual chicken salad restaurant, will be opening in New Braunfels this January.

The location is owned by trio James Oberg, Jeff Rochelle and George Shaw, who own two other Chicken Salad Chick locations in San Antonio.

According to a press release, co-owner James Oberg has been a New Braunfels resident for the past 16 years and said he was "thrilled" to bring more lunch, dinner and catering options for the community to enjoy.

Rochelle also noted communities like San Antonio and New Braunfels are "growing by leaps and bounds."

"We love sharing Chicken Salad Chick's made-from-scratch chicken salad and joy-filled culture with all of our guests and giving back to this area that has given us so much," Rochelle said in a press release.

Chicken Salad Chick serves a variety of chicken salads, sandwiches, soups and salads. The restaurant also has a catering option and a drive-thru.
