From food trucks to community libraries, learn more about six new businesses that have recently opened in the New Braunfels community.
Pet Supplies Plus of New Braunfels recently held its grand opening. The business will offer amenities for large and small pets including food and supplies, online ordering for curbside and local delivery, full-service grooming and self-service pet washing stations. The Pet Supplies Plus location will be the second independently owned and operated by Air Force veteran Joe Petergal and his daughter Brenda Engman.

Security Service Federal Credit Union opened a new location at the New Braunfels Town Center at Creekside. The business is a full service financial institution and offers mortgage products, investment services, insurance services, title insurance and settlement services, retail deposits and loan products.

New Braunfels native Joe Ortega officially opened his food truck, Tamale Joe. The food truck sells an assortment of tamales, including chicken cream cheese jalapeno, traditional pork, traditional chicken, bean and cheese and more. Tamale Joe also sells tortas, flauta cups and street tacos.
