February data shows median home prices increase in most McKinney areas

Nearly every ZIP code area in McKinney’s housing market saw a year-over-year increase in median home sales prices in February, according to the latest data from Collin County Area Realtors.

The 75071 ZIP code area saw the median home sales price decrease about 6% in February 2024 compared to February 2023. Every other area reported an increase in median home sales price.

More homes were sold across McKinney in February this year compared to last year. Despite the increase, the 75070 ZIP code area sold fewer homes compared to February 2023.

More than 400 homes were added to the market in February 2024. The 75071 ZIP code area added the most homes while the 75069 ZIP code area saw the largest year-over-year percent change increase.

Homes on the McKinney market also sold faster in February 2024 compared to last year. Each ZIP code area saw a decrease in average days a home spent on the market compared to February 2023.
