Luma Pediatrics is slated to open later this year in McKinney.
The independent pediatric practice will be led by board-certified pediatrician Dr. Praveena Tallapureddy, who has been providing care for families in McKinney since 2022. Luma Pediatrics will offer evidence-based pediatric care, Tallapureddy said, including care for newborns through young adults. Services available will include well-child visits, sick visits, vaccinations, physicals, chronic condition management and more.
The insurance-based practice will offer “thoughtful conveniences” meant to make the experience of visiting a pediatrician easier for parents, Tallapureddy said, such as online self-scheduling and digital paperwork before the visit.
“My goal is for families to feel supported and confident, spending less time managing the logistics of care and having more room to ask questions and talk about their child’s health,” Tallapureddy said in an email.
