Work is underway to open the Primrose School of North McKinney on North Hardin Boulevard.
The preschool will offer programs for infants, toddlers and pre-K students, according to a news release. Primrose will be constructed with more than 8,600 square feet of indoor classroom space and about 10,500 square feet of outdoor play space. The school will open with 13 classrooms.
Franchise owners Mariana and Ajit Thomas said in a statement that McKinney is growing quickly and they’re “thrilled” to offer Primrose’s Balanced Learning approach to the surrounding community.
“With large planned neighborhoods like Painted Tree taking shape around us, and many established residential communities here, parents are already preregistering, which shows how much they want exceptional early education close to home," they said.
