During the June 21 McKinney City Council meeting, the council approved a contract for the construction of the northbound lanes of Lake Forest Drive from Wilmeth Road to Bloomdale Road. The city will be making improvements to the connection of County Road 164, which is a one- lane, narrow roadway that will be expanded to two lanes.
