The Butterbeer Parlour is open and offering free treats at Walmart in west McKinney for a limited time, a news release states.
The family-friendly Harry Potter pop-up shop is celebrating Butterbeer Season, and is offering Harry Potter-themed activities and samples.

The event is being hosted by Walmart in partnership with various brands including Coffee mate, McCormick, Keebler, Goldfish and LEGO. Visitors can try samples at the Butterbeer-inspired sampling bar including:
The experience also offers shoppable Butterbeer-themed products. Activities at the pop-up shop experience include a children's coloring activity station, photo opportunities and a tote bag giveaway, the release states. The space also features various Harry Potter-themed LEGO big builds and displays, including an interactive sorting hat LEGO build.
The Butterbeer Parlour will operate from 10 a.m.-6 p.m each Saturday and Sunday, as well as 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on each Monday, Thursday and Friday. The experience is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The pop-up shop will operate at the McKinney Walmart store until May 2.
