Texans Credit Union officials broke ground on a new McKinney branch in May, according to a news release.
It will be the credit union’s second location in McKinney and first new branch in nearly two decades. The new branch will offer banking, lending and investment services like its first-time homebuyer mortgage program.
Texans Credit Union confirmed the development in February. The groundbreaking comes after organic membership grew 7.5% in 2025, according to the news release. In the past five years, customers have grown by 26%.
Texans Credit Union president and CEO David Frazier said the upgrades made have enabled the business to “grow sustainably and expand thoughtfully.”
