A RaceTrac gas station, located at 1608 S. McDonald St., McKinney, began renovations May 13. The building is being demolished and rebuilt as a RaceTrac store because the current building has “significant foundation issues,” according to a July letter of intent to the city. The new 5,500-square-foot facility will have 24 fuel pumps, free WiFi and to-go food and beverages, including pizza, roller grill items, a frozen dessert station, coffee and more.
