Construction is underway to open a second Crunch Fitness location along West University Drive in McKinney, a representative confirmed.

The gym will open in a nearly 51,600-square-foot space previously occupied by a Kroger grocery store, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Crunch Fitness gyms offer access to cardio and weightlifting equipment for a monthly membership fee.

Crunch Fitness opened its first McKinney location along Eldorado Parkway earlier this year.
