Third Gen Coffee, which stands for Third Generation Coffee Producers, opened June 5 at 25136 Grogans Park Drive, The Woodlands. This is the first location of the international coffee shop in the U.S., which is owned by husband and wife Marlon Reyes and Rachel Lanigan.

“I think what makes us unique is that we grow all of our coffee in Honduras so we can control the quality of our coffee from the seeds that we plant and how we care for them,” Lanigan said. “Then we harvest the beans, bring them to the U.S., roast them and serve them.”

The coffee shop specializes in coffee drinks, espresso drinks, teas, frappes, smoothies and food items, such as pastries and sandwiches. 512-566-9685. www.thirdgencoffee.com
