Checkers to open in early July on Ella Boulevard

Checkers will open July 2 at 15710 Ella Blvd., Houston. The drive-thru eatery offers burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, classic and boneless wings as well as milkshakes, slushies and smoothies.

The new restaurant is one of four Checkers locations slated to open in the Greater Houston area in July, according to a Checkers representative who added the company is planning to open another 10 franchise locations in the Greater Houston area over the next 24 months.
