Bright Realty broke ground this week on a four-story,109,000-square-foot office building at SH 121 and Carrollton Parkway in Castle Hills. The first phase of the office development—Crown Centre—is set to be complete by next summer, according to a news release. Crown Centre will feature a “park-like setting” with lakeside seating, open green space and access to garage parking. “Crown Centre is a testament to space planning innovation and office floor plate efficiency,” architect Matt McDonald of Corgan stated in the release. “Core building services have been streamlined to minimize visual obstacles, which allows complete transparency, unobstructed views and natural light throughout the building.” The project is adjacent to other Bright Realty developments, including The Realm at Castle Hills, which is expected to open in October. Nearby Bright Realty projects also include Cottages at The Realm, a newly built residential community with three- and four-bedroom rent-only homes; Sojourn at The Realm, which is still being built and will consist of condominiums in the $200,000 range; and single-family homes starting in the mid-$300,000 range. “The Castle Hills area along [SH] 121 offers office tenants easy access to DFW airport, an abundant supply of varied housing products and outstanding schools for companies relocating to the area or those looking to upgrade to a new, modern office building,” Chris Bright, CEO of Bright Realty, stated in the release. “While there is a lot of office construction in DFW, there is also a lot of activity, as we lead the nation in job growth. The low cost of living and doing business in Texas will continue to draw people here.” Castle Hills is a 2,900-acre master-planned community located near SH 121 and Windhaven Parkway. According to officials, the city of Lewisville is on track to formally annex the the community by 2021.
