After years of hosting food trucks on its property, San Marcos bar Zelicks Icehouse is opening its own food trailer.

Co-owner Seth Katz said he hopes to open it sometime in May. The menu will feature sandwiches—including a pulled pork sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich—as well as a hamburger and bar-friendly appetizers.

Patrons will be able to order at the bar as well as outside at the food truck, Katz said.

Zelicks, located at 336 W. Hopkins St., San Marcos, is currently hiring cooks to man the food trailer.

Seth and his brother Chase Katz also own Dos Gatos Kolache Bakery and Pie Society in San Marcos. 512-757-8787. www.zelickssmtx.com
