GALLERY: Thai restaurant Sway opens third location in West Lake Hills on Dec. 5

Sway, an award-winning Thai restaurant, opened its third location at 3437 Bee Caves Road on Dec. 5.

The West Lake Hills location features communal seating with views of the open kitchen, garden courtyard, bar, and lounge, a press release said. The property has several additions exclusive to the location, including a covered rooftop bar that also serves as a private event space. Rooftop guests will be able to take in sweeping views of the Austin skyline while enjoying savory bites from a condensed food menu, the release said.

The new restaurant is West Lake Hills’ first restaurant and bar with late-night hours, the release said, adding Sway West Lake Hills plans to cater to kids and adults alike. Offerings showcase both a kid-centric menu featuring mocktails and milk and cookies as well as a full beverage program featuring beer, wine, sake and signature cocktails such as Monk Water and Tuk Tuk Sling

The original Sway location has been operating on South First Street since 2012, and the second location opened on Rock Rose Avenue at Domain Northside in April.

Sway West Lake Hills will open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Happy hour will be available on weekdays from 4pm to 6pm, featuring half off all cocktails, beer, wine, and sake. Bar hours will be from 4pm – late. At this time, Sway is only open for dinner service, but brunch and lunch will soon follow in the new year, the release said.
