Denton County Transportation Authority will provide free shuttle service to the 32nd annual Highland Village Lions Balloon Festival Aug. 16-17. DCTA will offer free shuttle service from Marcus High School to the festival grounds. According to DCTA, festival-goers who use the shuttle service may park at the Marcus High School Sports Facility. On Aug. 16, the shuttles will run every 20 minutes from 5:30-11 p.m. The shuttles will run on Aug. 17 from 4:30-11 p.m. The event, hosted by the Highland Village Lions Club, will take off with live music, a car show, 12 food vendors, 100 booths and hot air balloons. Attendees can participate in balloon rides and races.
