At the June 3 Lewisville City Council meeting, members approved a $600,000 commercial contract for the purchase of 233 Main St. The property will be used for additional parking for the city’s nearby Visitor Information Center, according to a staff memo. The land could also be used for the potential expansion in the future of the MCL Grand Performing Arts Center, the memo stated. The city will use hotel motel funds to pay for the purchase from John Ross Hopkin & Co LLC, the memo stated.
