Celebrate Highland Village June 5 at Copperas Branch Park

Highland Village celebrates the beginning of summer with Celebrate Highland Village on June 5 at Copperas Branch Park, 101 Highland Village Road.

Event festivities begin at 6 p.m. and feature live music, food, dessert and drink vendors plus a firework display on Lake Lewisville.

Live music includes an opening performance by classic rock band Memory Trip at 6:15 p.m. followed by 1980s tribute band Live 80 at 7:30 p.m. and country-pop musician Haley Orrantia immediately after that.

Fireworks begin at dark.

The city of Highland Village lists the best places to view the festival’s fireworks display as Copperas Branch Park, on a boat on Lake Lewisville within close proximity to the park, on the Hickory Creek side of Lewisville or at Pilot Knoll Park.
