A new traffic signal will be coming to the Castle Hills area of Lewisville.
Lewisville City Council approved a contract with Durable Specialties Inc. during the March 18 meeting to install a traffic signal at Cookie Lane and Windhaven Parkway.
Current situation
The city sent out 32 bids, but only three companies applied for the project. Durable Specialties, from Grand Prairie, had the lowest bid, according to city documents. The base bid was $743,889.90, with a 5% contingencies added to bring the total amount to $781,078.10.
