The first Austin-area location of dirty soda shop chain FiiZ Drinks is coming to Liberty Hill, owner Sophie Platt said.
What’s on the menu
FiiZ’s menu is centered around dirty soda, which is soda that is mixed with other elements like flavored syrups, cream, juice, fresh fruit and candy, FiiZ Director of Marketing Kelly O’Rourke said.
The menu also includes non-soda options like crafted water, lemonade, energy drinks and frozen drinks, as well as a variety of sweet and savory snacks, O’Rourke said. The company’s tagline is, “Your drink. Your way.”
The details
Platt and her family, who also own and operate the FiiZ Drinks location in College Station, are aiming to open the store by the end of the year, she said.
“I’m really excited to bring this family-friendly, but really for everyone, brand [to Liberty Hill],” Platt said. “We really treat [the College Station location] as a place to hang out—an inclusive place where everyone can come and really feel welcome. I’m excited to bring that kind of positive feel to Liberty Hill.”
About the company
FiiZ started in Utah in 2014 and has grown to more than 70 locations across the country. The company also has about 200 new locations in development, O’Rourke said.
“In the last few years, we’ve seen this meteoric rise outside of the state of Utah as pop culture and Instagram and TikTok have all led to this sort of magnifying glass that’s been put over the idea of dirty soda, and it’s really taking off everywhere,” she said.
