The Bar W Ranch-area Kumon tutoring center in Leander has moved to a new, permanent location on Ronald Reagan Boulevard, owner and instructor Atlantis Frost said.
What parents need to know
The learning center, which opened in October 2023, moved from a temporary location at Larkspur Elementary School to its new location in May, Frost said. The center will host a grand opening Aug. 1.
The center is a franchise of Kumon, a global education company that started in Japan in 1958.
Frost, who is a former University of Texas at Austin chemistry instructor and chief assistant at Kumon of Austin West, teaches all of the center’s classes, she said.
Parents can learn more about the center and enroll their children on the tutoring center’s website. Tuition costs $175 per subject per month, and registration and materials fees also apply, according to the website.
