Enchanted Forest Walk

The Lakeway Parks and Recreation Department will invite the community to attend the first annual Enchanted Forest Walk, located on the trail behind City Hall. The trail will be lined with tiny fairies and gnomes under a canopy of trees and twinkling lights. Dogs are not allowed, and free parking will be available at the Lakeway Activity Center. Spring Art Walk

Hill Country Galleria is hosting the annual Spring Art Walk this April. Guests can enjoy a self-guided tour of the galleria’s art galleries, outdoor murals and sculptures. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to participate in a communal art mosaic project. Guides, complimentary swag bags and beer and wine samples can be picked up at the Central Plaza while supplies last. The event will also feature live music through the ongoing “live on the lawn” music series with the brewery Vista Brewing. 4-8 p.m. Free. The Westlake Chamber of Commerce will host its 19th annual Westlake golf tournament, sponsored by Whorton Insurance Services. Lakeway Earth Day

The city of Lakeway will invite residents to participate in a volunteer opportunity in honor of Earth Day. To help keep Lakeway beautiful, volunteers will pick up trash and small debris along local roadways and throughout city parks. Volunteers will meet at Lakeway City Hall, where they can find trash bags, trash pickers, safety vests and maps. Other activities will be planned to celebrate Earth Day. Kids cooking class

Children ages 5-7 are invited to attend a cooking class hosted on Fridays at the Lakeway Activity Center. Cooking with Collete not only encourages healthy eating habits and palette development, but also includes math, chemistry, science, history and more. Eanes Education Foundation gala

The Eanes Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Eanes ISD, will host its annual gala. The 2021 “Illuminate” gala will be held outdoors at the Omni Barton Creek Resort pavilion and will include both in-person and virtual attendance opportunities.
