Lake Travis-Westlake businesses offering specials for Mother's Day

Several businesses in the Lake Travis-Westlake area are offering specials in celebration of Mother’s Day, from a picnic to go from the Wayback Cafe and Cottages to a family paint party provided by Flin’N Art.

For those looking to dine out, a number of eateries are accommodating dine-in service at a maximum of 25% capacity. Due to the decrease in available seating, restaurants are encouraging reservations.

The League Kitchen and Tavern is offering Mother’s Day Brunch packs for pickup and delivery. The meal priced at $125 serves four to six people and features a roasted chicken, a spinach and gouda quiche, smoked salmon deviled eggs, a mimosa kit and more. The restaurant’s Lakeway location will be accepting preorders until 8 p.m. May 8. Dine-in service is also available from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, May 10. Reservations can be made through the restaurant’s website.

Buenos Aires Cafe is offering a special Mother’s Day menu for pickup, featuring four empanadas, a choice of salads, a berry trifle, au gratin potatoes and four servings of a chosen entree for $150. Orders can be placed over the phone or online and will be accepted until 8 p.m. May 7. The Hill Country Galleria restaurant is also open for dine-in service at 25% capacity.

The Wayback Cafe and Cottages is offering a Mother’s Day picnic to go, which will feed four people. The meal will increase a sandwich option, bacon-wrapped dates and more priced at $60. Orders must be placed by 6 p.m. May 6 and can be made over the phone. The cafe’s dining room will remain closed at this time.

Tony C’s Coal Fired Pizza has arranged brunch packs for Mother’s Day, which can feed between four and six people. Priced at $125, the packs will include a mimosa kit, chicken piccata, croissants with Nutella and more. Orders must be placed by 8 p.m. May 8. The restaurant is also accommodating dine-in service at 25% capacity.

Austin Tea Xchange’s dining room remains closed; however, the restaurant is offering an at-home patter to celebrate Mother’s Day at home. The platter features croissant sandwiches, quiches, French macarons, loose leaf tea, a jar of fresh flowers and more. All orders must be placed by May 9, and orders can be placed online or over the phone.

Flip’N Art at the Hill Country Galleria is offering craft projects through retail to go or in-store shopping to celebrate Mother’s Day. Customers can purchase an acrylic pour Mother’s Day box craft. The shop is open Fri.-Sun. from 1-6 p.m.
