Upcoming projects
Lakeshore subdivision drainage improvements
- Project: Storm sewer and inlet additions will be installed along Elm Shores Drive in the Lakeshore subdivision. The project aims to increase drainage capacity and reduce flood risk throughout the neighborhood.
- Update: Construction is expected to begin in September, said Jeannie Peng, communications manager for Harris County Precinct 3, in an Aug. 18 email.
- Timeline: third quarter 2026-fourth quarter 2026
- Cost: $350,000
- Funding source: Harris County Precinct 3
West Lake Houston Parkway traffic lights
- Project: Traffic lights will be rebuilt at five intersections along West Lake Houston Parkway, including at Kings River Drive/Kings Lake Estates Boulevard, Upper Lake Drive, Firesign Drive, Pine Cup Drive and Lonesome Woods Trail.
- Update: The design phase has been completed for this project, and construction is pending funding, Peng said.
- Timeline: TBD
- Cost: $2 million
