The Texas Department of Transportation began construction on the Hwy. 59 southbound main lane bridge over the West Fork of the San Jacinto River in Humble in early March. The main channel of the river shifted during Hurricane Harvey, changing the depth and alignment of the river and affecting the foundation of the bridge.
