Multi-Wing America opens new manufacturing plant in New Caney

Multi-Wing America—the North American subsidiary of Multi-Wing Group—announced the opening of its new manufacturing plant in New Caney via a news release Feb. 16.

According to the release, the new location was selected in hopes of improving delivery times and providing cost savings for Multi-Wing customers in the southern U.S. and Mexico. Officials also noted the area's strong labor force and friendly regulatory environment were also factors in the decision. The company has another manufacturing plant in Ohio.

"Multi-Wing Group is committed to providing the best possible service to our North American customers," Multi-Wing America President Palle Linde said in a statement. "By opening this plant, we are able to accommodate current and future growth and improve delivery times. We also now have a facility that is closer to several key customers."

Located at 20060 Nichols Lane, the manufacturing plant is housed in the East Montgomery County Industrial Park's Ymer Technology building.

According to the release, the facility has already begun production of select high-volume Multi-Wing modular axial fans for engine cooling and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration—or HVACR—applications. Additionally, Smartpack and Customfan fan packs from E Flow Technologies—an entity of Multi-Wing Group—will also be manufactured in the new facility.

While a few key Ohio employees have relocated to the new manufacturing plant in Texas, officials noted the company is also hiring new employees from the Greater Houston area.
