Leva Living is set to break ground in February on its first single-family rental neighborhood on a 16-acre parcel of land in Atascocita, officials announced in a Jan. 17 news release.
Located at 17260 W. Lake Houston Parkway, the unique hybrid model community will boast 162 detached homes at build-out, each with gated backyards and lawn maintenance included. The community will also feature an amenity complex featuring a clubhouse with a fully-equipped fitness center, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and spa.
"This will not be a traditional build-to-rent neighborhood," said Jennifer Orr, president and co-founder of Leva Living, in a statement. "We will retain some elements of an apartment community such as strict design standards, full maintenance, generous amenities and on-site maintenance and professional management, but will offer the privacy and backyards that apartment dwellers lack. It will be a carefree experience that we believe will appeal particularly to empty nesters and millennials looking to leave apartment life behind."
Designed by Danze & Davin Architects, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans will be available ranging from 773 to 1,358 square feet—each with open-concept living areas, walk-in closets and front porches. According to the release, pricing had not yet been determined as of Jan. 17.
