The city of Humble has seen a drop in both property and violent crimes in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the first quarter of 2025, per city data.

Mayor Norman Funderburk provided updates on the crime statistics during the council’s April 9 meeting.
Funderburk noted the number of property crimes committed during the first quarter of 2026 came in at 77, a nearly 37% drop from the 122 property crimes committed during the first quarter of 2025.
