Houston City Council member Fred Flickinger announces schedule for District E town halls

Houston City Council member Fred Flickinger will host a series of town halls this fall at locations across District E, per an Aug. 4 newsletter.

What residents should know

District E encompasses portions of the Clear Lake, Huffman, Crosby, Kingwood, Northshore and Summerwood communities. The town hall meetings will be held from 5-8 p.m. in accordance with the following schedule:

• Sept. 22: Kingwood Community Center, 4102 Rustic Woods Drive, Kingwood
• Oct. 8: Space Center Houston, 1601 E. NASA Parkway, Houston
• Oct. 20: St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5560 Laurel Creek Way, Houston

Flickinger noted doors will open at 5 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 6 p.m.

Invitations have been extended to representatives from city departments, including Houston Public Works and Houston Parks & Recreation, as well as a range of community speakers and other elected officials, per the release. Informational tables will also be set up for residents to peruse prior to the presentation.
