BOPA Event

The city of Houston and Keep Kingwood Green are hosting a recycling event to collect old batteries, oils, paints and antifreeze, or BOPA. Officials noted some items will not be collected, including oil-based paint, household alkaline batteries, hazardous waste, chemicals, tires, business and medical waste, ammunition and smoke detectors.

October Festival

Face to Face Enrichment Center is hosting an October Festival with a variety of spooky activities. The event will feature local vendors, live music, games and a costume contest.

Holiday Marketplace

The Kingwood Women's Club is hosting its 28th Annual Holiday Marketplace. The event will feature shopping from a variety of vendors, a raffle, a silent auction and door prizes. All proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
