Nurture Nest Academy is set to open in Humble in August, owner Keneisha Brundidge Rainford confirmed via email June 23.

Rainford said the private microschool will serve students in grades pre-K-8 with individualized academic support, flexible learning pathways and a focus on leadership, creativity and critical thinking.

"Nurture Nest Academy is a relationship-centered microschool designed to provide personalized learning in a small-group environment," Rainford said. "As a [Texas Education Freedom Accounts]-approved educational option, we partner with families seeking a more personalized alternative to traditional schooling."

Enrollment is currently open for the 2026-27 school year, and a grand opening celebration will be held Aug. 1, Rainford said.
