Following a soft opening on Aug. 23, Mexichido Bar & Grill will be holding its grand opening celebration in Kingwood on Oct. 26, the business’s owner confirmed Oct. 24. The event will feature food specials, an all-day happy hour and children’s face painting. A mariachi band will also perform from 6-8 p.m.

Mexichido Bar & Grill is a new local concept located in the former site of El Tiempo Cantina. The restaurant serves dishes including carnitas and fajitas and has a full bar serving cocktails such as margaritas.
