Lone Star Snow Cones will celebrate its first year in business in August, owners Jacob and Nicole Lewis confirmed July 23. An anniversary celebration will be held from 1-8 p.m. Aug. 29 at 1210 Hamblen Road, Kingwood.
The family-owned snow cone trailer is based in Kingwood and serves Houston and the surrounding communities through pop-up events and markets.
With prices ranging from $4-$6, Lone Star Snow Cones offers 37 flavors as well as four sugar-free options and five dye-free options. Toppings, such as Tajin, chamoy and coconut cream, can be added for an additional 50 cents each.
The business can be booked for private and corporate events, and has also partnered with schools in Humble and New Caney ISDs. The couple said they are hoping to do more fundraising events in the future.
