8 new restaurants now open in east Dallas

Lake Highlands Cafe

Lake Highlands Cafe, a new, family-owned brunch restaurant, opened in early July in Lake Highlands at 6750 Abrams Road.

Via Triozzi

Via Triozzi opened in mid-August in Lower Greenville at 1806 Greenville Ave.

The restaurant’s menu features an all-Italian wine list with 21 selections, homemade pasta and seasonal antipasto. www.viatriozzi.com

Petra and the Beast

After closing during July, Petra and the Beast reopened in a new space in Lakewood in mid-August at 1901 Abrams Road.

The American restaurant describes itself as “hyperseasonal,” with a focus on fermentation and sustainability. At the new location, patrons are no longer encouraged to bring their own beer and wine. www.petraandthebeast.com

Sol Good Juice

Local juice company Sol Good Juice opened its first brick-and-mortar location in mid-August at 2513 N. Fitzhugh Ave., Ste. 100.

Previously expected to open as early as June, Sol Good Juice sells fresh, cold-pressed juices and smoothies without added sugar or preservatives. Owner Jack Zhang said he has been selling his product at the Dallas Farmers Market for more than two years. www.solgoodjuice.com

Unbelievabowl Asian Grill

Unbelievabowl Asian Grill opened its third North Texas restaurant location in Lake Highlands in mid-August at 6243 Retail Road, Ste. 550.

Previously expected to open in early July, the fast-casual restaurant offers a variety of Asian dishes, including beef and chicken teriyaki, spicy pork, sesame chicken, bibimbap, and more. www.unbelievabowlasiangrill.com

Lubbies Bagels

Lubbies Bagels, a new, locally owned bagel and coffee shop, opened in early August at 1160 Peavy Road.

Owned by sisters Andrea Lubkin and Jen Lubkin, the artisan shop soft-opened with a limited selection of bagels and schmears, according to a social media post from the company. The sisters plan to offer an expanded menu in the future. www.instagram.com/lubbies_bagels

Casa Ramen

Casa Ramen opened in late July at 9440 Garland Road, Ste. 108, owner Armando Ramirez said.

The restaurant serves several ramen flavors, including a vegan option. The menu also includes other Japanese dishes, such as shishito peppers and kushikatsu, a choice of skewered meat and vegetables served with a signature sauce. www.casaramendallas.com
