Dallas residents will soon see new plans the city has devised to address coyotes in the area.
Employees with Dallas Animal Services and the city's parks and recreation department will present a coyote management plan at 6:30 p.m. on June 13 at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center, council liaison Maddy Madrazo said via email.
City officials have been working to address concerns following a coyote attack that occurred in the White Rock Valley area on May 3, a memo from District 10 Council Member Adam McGough to City Manager T.C. Broadnax following the attack stated.
In the memo, McGough said the city is working to provide a “comprehensive coyote management plan based on the best-known management practices and tools.”
