Keller Mayor Armin Mizani delivered his state of the city presentation Dec. 7, where he noted several key highlights the City Council and staff accomplished in 2022.
Mizani, who was elected in December 2020, highlighted several improvements to infrastructure, public safety and quality of life. Specific accomplishments included a joint project between the city and Tarrant County to improve Elm Street, enhancing school safety by hiring new school resource officers, and the Bates Street public art project.
Mizani stressed that all of these accomplishments were made while keeping the city’s portion of residential property taxes lower than rates in the neighboring cities.
“I take a lot of pride in these numbers, because we provide services that are unmatched at a level that, on average, is lower,” he said.
