Fort Worth City Council approves 2 agreements with Perot Field

Fort Worth City Council approved a business lease and pavement repairs at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport during the March 25 meeting at the new city hall.

According to a council memo, officials approved a lease for 4,320 square feet of space to aircraft owner ILOAPJ Holdings, LLC, at the controlled material storage building No. 3 at the Alliance Fort Worth maintenance facility.

Rent for the address at 2008 Eagle Parkway is $3,600 per month, or $8 per square foot, and it is a month-to-month lease, according to city documents.

Council also approved an agreement with Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for $276,510 to conduct a construction management service for Phase I of the joint reseal and payment repair project at the airport.

According to a city memo, the improvements to the joints and repairs to the concrete at the facility will mitigate stormwater runoff from entering the pavement, prolonging the life of the concrete.

Federal Aviation Administration's Cargo Entitlement funds are paying for the costs.
