From Fourth of July celebrations to concerts, take a look at some events happening in Keller, Roanoke and northeast Fort Worth at the end of June through July. This list is not comprehensive.
June
Family Pottery
WheelCraft Studio will host a pottery class for families with children ages 8 and older. In the class, guests will sit behind the pottery wheel and learn how to create unique pottery. Guests will pick their two favorite creations to glaze and kiln.
July
Keller Lights
To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, the city of Keller will host a 20-minute fireworks and drone show at Keller Town Hall. Along with the fireworks display, Dallas-based band Emerald City will perform and there will be special giveaways along with food and drink vendors.
Annual July 3rd All-American Fireworks and Festival
The city of Roanoke will put on its annual All-American Fireworks and Festival, featuring carnival rides, bounce houses, face painting, a pie-eating competition, vendor booths and several food trucks. There will also be a dueling pianos performance at 7:30 p.m. before the fireworks show starts at 9:15 p.m.
NASCAR Racing Experience
Guests can drive a real NASCAR race car on the Texas Motor Speedway track. After training and instruction, drivers can take the race car for a solo spin around the track. Guests can also ride along with a professional driver. Those interested must book in advance.
2026 Back to School Bash
The Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce is partnering with local businesses to collect school supplies for Keller ISD students for the 2026-27 school year. District families are invited to the event at Fossil Ridge High School for free supplies, backpacks, health screenings, school registration and giveaways. Students must be present to receive the supplies.
Desperado at Roanoke Live!
Guests are invited to enjoy soft-rock tunes from Desperado, an Eagles tribute band. Some of the Eagles’ biggest hits will be performed, including “Take it Easy” and “Hotel California.” All ages are welcome, and doors open at 7 p.m.
