Kura Revolving Sushi Bar will have a soft opening Feb. 10 and have special hours through Feb. 12 from noon-9 p.m. The restaurant will host a grand opening Feb. 13, when it will begin regular business hours.
The gist
According to a company news release, the restaurant has three key features:
- Revolving sushi bar - allows diners to select various dishes as they float by on a conveyor belt.
- Express belt - diners can place orders from more than 100 menu items using the touch panel tablet at their table and their food arrives directly to them from the kitchen.
- Bikkura Pon prizes - the touch panel registers the number of sushi plates dispensed onto the plate disposal slot. After every five plates inserted, a short animation will play on the touch panel and, after every fifteen plates inserted, a prize will be dispensed from the prize machine.
