A Raising Cane’s support office relocation and new landscaping at Firefly Park in Frisco are two of many new projects filed recently with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Here are five of the most expensive permits filed with TDLR in the past week.
1. Raising Cane’s Dallas Restaurant Support Office relocation
Three floors of an existing building in Plano will be renovated to become the new Dallas-area support office for Raising Cane’s, according to a TDLR filing. Plano City Council first approved the relocation in August 2024, per previous reporting. Construction is estimated to take less than a year and a half to complete.

2. General Electric Aerospace Carter Field FacilityGeneral Electric Aerospace, a jet and turboprop engine provider, will demolish and remove existing building components at a facility near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport for new construction and modifications, according to a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take roughly a year and a half to complete.

3. Firefly Park retail siteFirefly Park’s retail site will have civil construction and landscaping along Fireglass Way, according to a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take about a year and a half.

4. Texas Health Resources Arlington Centralized Ambulatory CenterA new two-story ambulatory center from Texas Health Resources will be constructed in Arlington, according to a TDLR filing, and will be 55,000 square feet. Construction is estimated to take roughly seven months to complete.

5. Custer Frontier MarketplaceThree retail buildings will be constructed along with site improvements for three lots in McKinney, according to a TDLR filing. Some improvements include paving, utilities, sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, dumpster enclosures and site lighting. The Custer Frontier Marketplace development will be anchored by a Kroger Marketplace, per previous reporting. Construction is estimated to take half a year to complete.
