GreenPal, the nation's leader in on-demand lawn mowing, launched its service in Keller on May 16.
According to a company news release, homeowners looking to hire someone for their lawn care services use GreenPal for several reasons:
- GreenPal's technology allows local, prescreened vendors to competitively bid on lawns ensuring homeowners receive the best price for all of their lawn care needs.
- Homeowners can order "contactless" lawn care for same- or next-day service.
- More than 30% of GreenPal customers are over the age of 60. This demographic is particularly vulnerable to health risks and greatly benefits from the added safety and convenience provided by the platform.
The details
Based in Nashville, GreenPal allows lawn care professionals to bid on their properties based on Google Street and aerial images, and any other lawn details the homeowner provides. According to the news release, homeowners can then select who they want to work with based on the vendor's ratings, reviews and price. Once the service is completed, the lawn care professional will send a time-stamped photo of the completed work. Homeowners can then pay via the app and set up more appointments.
