Kroger announces plans for new Marketplace store in North Fort Worth

Kroger announced plans Dec. 16 to open two new Kroger Marketplace format stores in North Texas. One of these new stores will be located at the northeast corner of Sendera Ranch Parkway and Rancho Canyon Way near the Sendera Ranch development, said John Votava, Kroger Dallas corporate affairs director.

The details

According to a company news release, Kroger Marketplace format stores are multi-department stores offering the following:

• Full-service grocery
• Pharmacy
• Expanded general merchandise including outdoor living products, electronics, home goods, apparel and toys

A typical Kroger Marketplace store ranges in size from 100,000 to 130,000 square feet, according to the news release.

The news release states Kroger currently operates more than 200 stores throughout Texas.
