Fort Worth Community Credit Union has been renamed Worth Credit Union as of May 1.
According to a company news release, the name change was made to reflect the organization’s continued growth, evolving memberships and commitment to Fort Worth individuals and families.
The bank offers checking and savings accounts, loans for vehicles and credit cards, home loans and also provides wealth management services for residents who live, work or attend school in Tarrant, Parker, Johnson and Denton counties, according to its website.

The bank originally started as Fort Worth Federal Employees Federal Credit Union in 1940 and rebranded in 2001 to Fort Worth Community Credit Union, moving away from a federal charter, according to its website.
Worth Credit Union has 10 branches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including four in Fort Worth. There are additional locations in Bedford, Arlington, Burleson, North Richland Hills, Weatherford and Flower Mound, according to its website.
