See how the Katy, Fulshear real estate market fared in September

The total number of homes sold in seven Katy- and Fulshear-area ZIP codes increased in September 2024 compared to September 2023.

There were 596 homes sold in seven local ZIP codes in September versus 581 for the same month last year. It was less than in August, which saw 620 homes sold.

Four of the seven local ZIP codes saw the number of homes sold rise year over year, with the biggest increase in ZIP code 77441 with a 26.53% rise. ZIP code 77493 was the most active with 205 homes sold.

Meanwhile, of the total 596 homes sold, homes in the $250,000-$449,999 price range sold the most frequently, with 349 homes sold.

The median home sales price rose in four of seven ZIP codes year over year. ZIP codes 77094 saw the largest year-over-year increase at a 72.29% increase.

Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market increased in five of the seven ZIP codes. Homes sold quickest in ZIP code 77094, with an average of 16 days on the market for the four homes sold. Homes spent the longest on the market in ZIP code 77493 for an average of 84 days.
