Fulshear seeking community input for Parks Master Plan

Fulshear officials are seeking community feedback as it updates the Parks and Pathways Master Plan.

Fulshear residents are encouraged to complete a community survey as city officials work to update the Parks and Pathways Master Plan, which provides guidance for short- and long-term park planning, Public Works Assistant Director Tiffany Stodder said in an email.

The survey opened Aug. 12 and will collect feedback through Oct. 13, with residents providing input on:

• Desired park features
• Trails
• Community events
• Types of parks
• Community center usage
• Municipal bond support

The city will also host in-person survey sessions at the Irene Stern Community Center located at 6920 Fulshear Katy Road, Fulshear, on:

• Sept. 10 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Sept. 19 from 4-6 p.m.
