Tacos Frontera, a Tijuana-style taqueria, is set to open its second storefront in Katy, owners said.
The gist
The restaurant initially opened its doors at 4805 Hwy. 6 N., Houston, in July 2023, and the owners are looking to add space with its Katy expansion, President Erik Leal said in an email.
On the menu
The menu features numerous Tijuana-style taco, torta, burrito and quesadillas options, Leal said. Guests can also enjoy guacamole, elote, charro beans and chicharrones or wash their meal down with margaritas or various aguas frescas.
“We intend for people to feel like they are in Mexico with the setup, decor and ambience with an open kitchen and everything being made fresh in front of you just like in Mexico,” Leal said.
