Loves Dumpling House is the culmination of years of hard work for owner and chef Yalian Liang, who made it a goal to own her own restaurant, Manager Elaine Liang said. Yalian Liang started first by mastering her craft as the head chef at another Houston dumpling house.

“For Mama Liang, cooking has always been about more than just feeding people—it's about creating memories, nurturing relationships, and sharing a piece of her heart with every dish she serves,” Elaine Liang said in an email.

Must-try menu items

The menu features numerous dumpling options such as soup, steamed, boiled and pan-fried as well as spicy and sour.

“Our dumplings are not just food—they are an experience,” Elaine Liang said. “Our most beloved offering is our soup dumplings—a dish that has become a signature of Loves Dumpling House.”

In addition to dumplings, the menu also includes various fried rice, chow mein and noodle dishes, according to its menu. Patrons can also enjoy chef specials such as sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper fish filet, or garlic greens.
