Officials with Memorial Hermann announced it is building a new Urgent Care clinic at the intersection of FM 1463 and Fulshear Bend Drive in Fulshear.
Glenn Willey, communications specialist with Memorial Hermann, said the 2,847-square-foot facility is set to open in early 2017 and will be located at 5102 FM 1463. The facility will be staffed with several board-certified family medicine physicians and medical assistants.
The clinic is not designed to handle life-threatening health conditions, however it will offer walk-in care for various ailments as well as X-ray and lab services, he said.
Willey said the hospital system has a goal of providing access to health care that is easily accessible.
